to provide an understanding of Gentle Creek Golf Club and the
membership opportunities available. As these questions and answers
are only summary in nature, you should read the Membership Plan
and Rules and Regulations prior to purchasing a membership.
Who owns and operates Gentle Creek
Golf Club?
Gentle Creek is owned and operated by Prosper Land Company,
Ltd.
What assessments may be levied at
Gentle Creek Golf Club?
Prosper Land Company, Ltd. owns and operates Gentle Creek Golf
Club. Members will not be liable for capital expenditures or
losses related to the operation of the golf course and facilities.
How will dues be affected annually?
Dues are adjusted after careful evaluation on an annual basis.
Competition, industry trends, quality of product, inflation,
and current economic conditions are considered during this evaluation
process. It is the intent of Gentle Creek Golf Club to institute
a fair and reasonable dues structure.
Who will be entitled to use of the
Club facilities?
The payment of dues entitles the member to use Club facilities.
Spouse and children under the age of 23, unmarried, and living
at home or enrolled as a full-time student are allowed privileges
provided they have been registered with the Club.
What is the Gentle Creek dress code?
Gentle Creek Golf Club requires that all members and guests
wear appropriate golf attire including collared shirts, slacks
or approved shorts, and non-metal golf spikes. No denim is allowed
on the practice areas or golf course. Denim is allowed in the
Clubhouse. A more detailed dress code is available in the House
Rules and Regulations material.
Are memberships transferable?
A membership is only transferable to the Club. In the event
a Golf Member would like to terminate his or her membership
because of some unforeseen circumstance, club management will
replace their membership and give the resigning member the option
of waiting the balance of the thirty years for their deposit
or refunding their deposit less a 50% transfer fee at the time
of replacement. This only applies to Members whose initiation
deposit is paid in full.
What categories of Membership are
available?
Gentle Creek offers the following categories of memberships:
• Resident Full
• Non-Resident
• Senior Resident
• Corporate Resident
The Non-resident radius is a
100 mile minimum.
Must I be a resident of the Gentle
Creek community to become a Member?
Gentle Creek welcomes both residents of the development and
those living outside the development for membership. Residents
of the development are extended a 20% discount off the current
initiation deposit.
Are food minimums required?
No.
